New year new spirit of blogging

Today is the 1st day of year 2014, i was accompanying my little boy sleeping when suddenly remembered that i have A BLOG! yes, i was absent for almost 4 years of blogging, since Facebook introduced and invaded my blogging life :) well i can't blame Facebook since it's very instant no need to write long story and words and you can get all information, pictures, videos, shared stories and also not to forget online shops :)

But here as i read my past blogs... i feel i have forgotten how i used to like baking and decorating, being a wife and mother of 2 has made me forget how my life used to be, i once a passionate girl and i need to get back my passion to my first love, baking.

i have quited my job a year ago and find that jobless life has made me less passionate, less inspired and less motivated. Reading my past blogs has awaken me.

I guess i need to get back my blogging life and make  Facebook & coupons websites aside.

Btw, these are my kids, nasty and adorable the same time... :)

However i do bake sometimes & receive some orders too... i will post some pictures in my next blog :) Happy New Year 2014 everyone, may this year bring bless to everyone who work hard for it.

after a month holiday~~~ :)

After a very long holiday, i'm back on the business.... this cake was made for my dearest friend in office, a nice green cake... for green lovers :E

Back on business...

Last month, i celebrated the most important day of my life, i got married.... :D

despite the hustle bustle preparing all the wedding necessity, i managed to bake my own wedding cake :) it's actually a dream come true to bake my own wedding cake... since child i do have dream to bake my own wedding cake..

the cake consist of 85 cup cakes medium size, 22 chocolate pies to put in the middle, a 22cm round cake ad the top cake.

the cake, the invitation, the thank you gift were made based on an illustration which created by my dearest friend, we do have a theme for this wedding.

I'm glad all turned out to be a great day... :)

I'M BACK ~~~

I was vanish for a while... now i'm back... these days i didn't make too much cake as i'm preparing big event of my own and being busy with it...

these are few i've done, which i forgot to post.

But not this time... it was really a big challenge for me, i was having a bad cold and high fever, can't even pull my feet from my comfort bed, it was really a fight between responsiblity and a simple call saying "i'm canceling the order" ~~~ :( i didn't want to take the 2nd option, so i can only rely on pills...

Anyway, i managed to drag my feet from a comfort bed which i should be on and start to make some figurines... unfortunately the wheater was so humid, it's been raining for several days here, the figurines were melt & stick each other ~~ ooo... what a day...

The cup cakes finished & delivered... and i can continue my sleepsZZZ ~~~ :)

~ My First Wedding Cake ~

The day has come... The day for my first wedding cake

It drove me crazy... The hours of preparing and making sure that all thing must go well, though it's not a high art wedding cake but it indeed my first wedding cake, so i got so much nervous when preparing it... the most most most difficult part was the fondant covering part.... the cake was so huge, i spent hours thinking how to cover it... Thanks God it went well and thanks to mom for helping me :)...

The next challenge was the delivery... it made me spent sometimes to stuff the tiers and tools into my mini fighter katance car... I had to drive in low speed, one handed, one eyed hahaha something which i never done before.

Despite all obstacle, the cake turn out as good as we planned... Thanks to Andre & Oca for the beautiful opportunity... i also made some cookies for their pre-wed photo shoots using their big theme.... Mr. & Mrs. Birdy... love them love the birdies...

This time i use edible printed image, it's good for photo and detail pictures.

Birthday Theme

It's a boy birthday, Ben 10 is his favourite... I don't know that Ben 10 is famous, i barely ever watch it... after some googling, now i know it's an animation of a boy fighting aliens , so here are the cakes for the birthday boy... i guess the green color suit well.. it matches the color scheme of Ben 10 logo.

~ THIS IS IT ~

I'm sooo glad it's weekend.... last days were battles between me and what i'm doing... i feel quite exhausted.. sleep for only several hours and controlling mood is a serious battle... i'm lucky to have so much support, i made them well and finished them well too... well at least in my opinion... Days like these will come often in my life so i'll just be prepared.

Anyway, I'm going to watch This Is It - Michael Jackson story, today... i'm wondering what the movie all about... but i going to enjoy it anyway... This Is It .. This is my weekend :)
