Under the Sea

Last weekdays were a hectic, working over time with piles of files rushing to be processed, a very stressful week with overload job... kept thinking that i need some refreshment, some nice long getaway from those piles. Hopefully soon... but now, lets enjoy the "under the Sea" experience.












I like the pearl the most, cute and shiny... it's just like something precious for the one you love... this cake for a cousin on his birthday... i have 1 left, i cut into half to see the inside...

Saturday morning... rushing to finish a cake cake 11.30am is the deadline.

Actually I planned to bake it in on Friday night but as the piles of work won't finish on time so additional hours needed and went a bit late T-T.

The order supposed to be plain green tea cake with custard in between, but as this cake is dedicated for a birthday girl which her name will be appear on the cake... so.. why not giving some pretty decoration as topper... it would be an extra surprise for her.

The cake itself taste extremely soft, fluffy and yummy of course made without adding cake emulsifier. it's just the way it is.... i myself can't even get over eating the crumbles... :) yumm...



Got a shock text message.... a best friend just delivered a precious baby boy this morning.... (@~@)~~ weeks earlier than the estimation....

Welcome Baby Deven... can't wait to make you a cake....!

*Experiment Never Fail *

This is an encourage line i got from my long time friend, remembering this line makes me awake from any failure. This time, cup cakes experiment... soon will be some fish cup cakes.. but still haven't find perfect design and perfect dough... so i'll need bunch of experimentation

glad my camera is back, my father borrowed it for sometimes, so i couldn't take any picture T-T, this is 1st picture i took after a whole week....



It was raining all day long when i made the decoration, the air was too humid and started melting my fondant... it's terrible, the decoration became glossy and sticky as you can see T-T. I wish this would never happen again.

The cup cakes were made from 2 batch of vanilla and chocolate with cheese and chocolate chip inside. yummm....

irresistible - Green -

I love green... i always love green... marvelous color which bring peacefulness... maybe not to everyone, at least for green's lovers. My friend is one among those green addicted person, not by the color but by the taste... green is yummy... green tea is simply irresistble, this was her birthday present... Happy Belated Birthday Noe...

The smell of Green tea combine with butter and milk really pleased me... this is the way it should be, simple yet addictive.. not too sweet just perfect... yummy...

The wedding gift

Last weekend was a big day for my cousin.. finally, there she was walking on the aisle with her long time boyfriend and now become her husband... surrounded friends and relatives, admiring her beauty.. be a queen of the day. I dream that 1 day i can make a wedding cake, making wedding cake is my top dream, i can't make one right now since, it'll need more practice and gain more knowledge.. no confidence yet. But i'll make it someday..

However I managed to make some dessert for the family gathering, unfortunately i didn't have time to take pic of it... luckily i have this hehe



cousins and nephews were grabbing my dessert hehe mine was gone in few minutes... nice... love when it happened.

Striving to the Best

In this ordinary day, i received an extra-ordinary phrase.

Thinking a while... we all should striving to the best in our live.
Striving means working hard, building a strong foundation toward a life that never been easy. Although i'm not a kind of "hard working" person however the word need to be apply from now on... my brain starts the alarm, supposedly it'll say : fiuuh... another word of wise... another homework.... another headache... arrrggh...

Don't forget we also need to "working smart"... :)

Hi.. i'm back

Finally i'm back on track... it's been almost 2 months after my last posting, i had hectic days, PC breakdown and some viruses from the downloads :) finally back on track... i just got my PC repaired for 1 week.

let see... i passed the Chinese New Year & Valentine's day with regretfull, making a reminder that i should take more attention with my PC, so what did i do during these days? well.... these what i did...






Steamed Tiramisu cake :
combination of vanilla and coffee flavor cake with a layer of creamy coffee custard in between

Brazilian Cheese rolls (Pao Queijo)

The smell of baked cake really comfort me... it feel on top of the world when these bites baked successfully. Stop baking is a scary thought that i hope it wouldn't ever pass my brain... although sometimes tiring but i can't stop baking.
